Job Description

Role purpose:
This is a role for Cyber Prevent and Demand, it is responsible for delivering and managing all Cyber Security Managed Services for the client. The role ensures effective cyber tooling operations, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, system hardening, and asset governance in line with agreed SLAs and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cyber Security Tooling Oversight: Ensure all client-provided cybersecurity tools are properly implemented, configured, operational, and monitored; coordinate issue resolution and provide timely updates.
• Endpoint Security Compliance: Maintain required endpoint security coverage and timely updates for servers and workstations; conduct risk assessments for unsupported endpoints.
• Patch & Vulnerability Management Assurance: Oversee full asset scanning coverage, verify timely patch implementation, analyze vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation, perform re-scans, and provide accurate KPI reporting.
• System Hardening Compliance: Ensure all IT, network, and cloud assets meet approved hardening standards; manage deviations, compensating controls, and hardening performance reporting.
• IT Asset Management Governance: Maintain a complete and accurate technology asset register aligned with Technology Risk & Governance requirements; conduct regular reviews for completeness and accuracy.
• Risk, Compliance & Quality Assurance: Identify gaps across preventive controls, escalate risks, support audits, and ensure documentation and compliance evidence is accurate and available.
• Client Relationship & Continuous Improvement: Serve as the primary technical contact for the client, maintain strong stakeholder communication, and drive continuous enhancement of preventive security processes.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• Degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1 – 3 years’ experience in Cyber Security Operations, Endpoint Security, or Vulnerability Management.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools (EDR/AV, scanners, patching tools).
• Understanding of security hardening standards (CIS, vendor baselines).
• Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, ISO 27001, or ITIL are an added advantage.

Qualifications

Degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
