Cactus Hotel is seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy, and guest-oriented Reception Manager to join our team at our premier location near Sea Cliff. If you are a hospitality professional with a knack for digital marketing and a passion for excellence, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
• Guest Experience Leadership: Oversee the front desk operations to ensure seamless check-ins, check-outs, and exceptional service throughout the guest stay.
• Digital Distribution & Marketing: Manage and optimize hotel listings on major platforms including Booking.com, Airbnb, and Agoda to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Administrative Excellence: Utilize computer systems for reservations, reporting, and internal communication.
• Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for international and local guests, ensuring clear and professional correspondence.
Candidate Requirements
• Experience: Proven background in hotel management or a senior reception role.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in computer applications and Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of OTA (Online Travel Agency) backends—specifically Booking.com, Airbnb, and Agoda.
• Language: Must be fluent in both English and Kiswahili (written and spoken).
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a “marketing-first” mindset.
