Boiler Making Maintenance Worker – Welder (2 position)

JOB PURPOSE
The successful candidate will be responsible for making spare parts, maintaining welding tools and equipment in good condition, ensuring the safety of all workers, and promoting effective housekeeping practices in the workplace.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Fabricating/Welding
• Installing of welded equipments.
• Maintaining &repair vessel tanks.
• Repair and upkeep of existing metal structure and machinery
• Common Task: Reading Blueprint, using oxy- fuel cutting torches, performing Arc, (SMAW), MIG, (GMAW) or TIG.
• Marking layout & Sketches
• Development of structures
• Attends job cards issued
• Cleans working premises
• Ensures safety to others
• Does any other duties as assigned by supervisors
JOB QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Form IV certificate.
• Vocational training in welding trade test grade/level 2 from a recognized Institution.
• 3+ years’ working experience in a busy environment & expertise in various welding techniques.
• Mentally and physically fit.
• Honest, accountable, reliable, creative & hard working, willing to work long hours
• Attention to details

TERMS OF SERVICE: The successful candidate will be engaged on Permanent Contract.
